A Habitat ReStore is a facility that supports the services provided by its local Habitat for Humanity affiliate.
ReStores recycle overstocked, discontinued, new and used building materials donated by manufacturers, stores, contractors and individuals. These donated items are sold to the public or used in construction of Habitat houses. All revenue from sales goes to the local affiliate in support of its building program.
The Habitat for Humanity ReStore is located at 1109 Porter Wagoner Blvd. in West Plains.
The West Plains Habitat for Humanity ReStore relies on donations to exist.
Our ReStore will accept donated new and used building materials from stores, contractors, and individuals and sell them to the public at a reasonable price.
All profits from the sale of these building materials goes toward building Habitat houses in the West Plains Area.
Sixty percent of items sent to the landfill are building materials. Recycling building materials helps our environment.
Volunteer Opportunities: The ReStore operates with one Full-time paid staff member. Volunteers are needed to assist with store operation. Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age. If you are interested in volunteering on a weekly, biweekly or monthly basis, please contact our ReStore Manager, Robert Mock at 256-1576.
Volunteers may also apply for A+ community service hours, court ordered community service, or other requirements.
